Relief Revival: Project 2

Project 2 was a multiple block print using four colors. I printed two types of prints, one set with my key plate (flowers) underneath the buddha and one where the key plate is laid on top. The last two images are the final prints, the first with the key plate on top, the second, underneath.

Relief Revival: Project 1

The first project was a simple patterned image printed in black on white paper. In the second image, I experimented with printing the block, and then flipping it 180 degrees and printing again.

Magazine Spreads

Using an article related to the icon set in the Visual Communication class, the last project of Typography 2 was the designing of three magazine spreads. The third spread incorporates the information graphic designed in VC. The title of the article is also the title of the icon set.

Weather Inspired Typography

The basis for the first project of Typography 2 was to express various weather phenomena using... you guessed it... type.
