I started collecting bottle caps early in high school while going through a phase of making bottle cap jewelry. I have saved almost every cap from every bottle opened since then, so there are many duplicates, but I have over 25 different caps. I am intrigued by the various graphic and typographic treatments. I've thought many times I should also start collecting guitar picks for the same reason, but that collection has yet to manifest itself.
The other day one of my coworkers sent me this link to Less than 100 Grams, "a blog dedicated to tiny and beautiful stuff." Apparently I'm not the only one who finds bottle caps intriguing.
