In the Midwest it is known that when the air turns green it signals the onset of a tornado; you don't believe it until you witness it, but I will tell you it is one of the most surreal phenomenon's I have ever seen. Similarly, there will be times around dusk when I look outside and notice the air is pink. This is usually my cue to search frantically for my camera and run out the door as quickly as possible, for with each passing second the sky transforms, fluctuating between every color of the rainbow, and it is irresistibly, intoxicatingly beautiful.
